THE CROWNED VISITOR
Part of The Visitors, a series of three one-of-a-kind sculptural vessels handmade by Jaime Shelley. Formed and painted entirely by hand in low-temperature majolica, each piece combines the human figure with a functional ceramic object, becoming a vase, a container, or simply a character with a strange and playful presence. Each Visitor is sold separately, although the three create a particularly striking sculptural triptych when displayed together.
