The World Is Not Okay reflects my view of a world shaped by powerful nations and financial interests, where decisions made at the top can affect everyone. The presence of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un evokes the constant anxiety of nuclear conflict. I bring these political and economic tensions into the language of Pop Art, turning a complicated reality into a direct, sharply ironic image. When the powerful sneeze, the rest of the world catches a cold. Acrylic on canvas. 100 × 100 cm (39.4 × 39.4 in).
Free delivery within San Miguel de Allende, or pickup at Finca San Cayetano / San Cayetano Studio.
