Heidi, Kim & POW! — A Louis Vuitton Box — A playful collision of worlds: the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, Heidi in her Alpine landscape, and a comic-book “POW!” share the surfaces of an original Louis Vuitton box, painted by hand in 2021. The Korean lettering beside Heidi reads “알프스의 소녀 하이디”, meaning “Heidi, Girl of the Alps.” The box is presented in a clear glass display case that protects the work while keeping every side on view. A curious, irreverent piece of pop art made in San Miguel de Allende. Measures 34 × 27.5 × 18 cm (13.4 × 10.8 × 7.1 in). Free delivery within San Miguel de Allende, or free pickup at San Cayetano Studio, Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (ID required).
