Handmade Ceramic Sculpture Pair
Two soldiers remain standing after the violence has passed. One carries a wounded heart; the other bears an injured body and a hanging arm. Their scars are not concealed: red wounds and flashes of gold become part of their history.
After the Battle is a one-of-a-kind sculptural pair about vulnerability, survival, and the strange persistence of the human body. Created by hand in low-fired ceramic using the majolica technique, both figures were finished with gold luster in a third firing.
The two sculptures are sold exclusively as a pair.
Wounded Figure: 23 cm high × 15 cm base length (9.1 × 5.9 in). Weight: 405 g (14.3 oz).
Standing Figure: 23 cm high × 16.5 cm base length (9.1 × 6.5 in). Weight: 263 g (9.3 oz).
